Zigor Alzola started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in UD Culcul's zone, Mario Vinyals stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frutos Ocomardia came out of the goal and Mario Vinyals tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Vinyals fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frutos Ocomardia having to interfere. Alfredo Eraña hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Vermudo Cucurull acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Demetrio Urtiaga. Vermudo Cucurull made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Marine in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, UD Culcul's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Vinyals came free, but Frutos Ocomardia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guagua Cuerva kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Mario Vinyals sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, UD Culcul's Villarreal Pliego got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Roberto Marine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Puyaburo SC's Mario Vinyals sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frutos Ocomardia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 31 minutes, Ruben Barea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Culcul and the Puyaburo SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ruben Barea kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Marban during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to UD Culcul getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Leon Marban hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, UD Culcul's Roberto Marine sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vermudo Cucurull narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of UD Culcul booed when Puyaburo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyrone Cerezal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Puyaburo SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Almandoz Abrego was slow to take the kick. During this time UD Culcul's players had a chance to rest. Almandoz Abrego made a great header on UD Culcul's corner, it was just that Puyaburo SC's Vermudo Cucurull managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Vinyals was the one to do the kick off. Vermudo Cucurull came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Culcul's Guagua Cuerva. But to his dismay, Guagua Cuerva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Zigor Alzola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vermudo Cucurull having to interfere. Mario Vinyals sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mario Vinyals had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Puyaburo SC's García Cicero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frutos Ocomardia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If García Cicero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Puyaburo SC's Tyrone Cerezal suffered a sprained foot after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 82 minutes, Guagua Cuerva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Culcul and the Puyaburo SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to UD Culcul getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Guagua Cuerva hit a great ball. When Guagua Cuerva was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Guagua Cuerva kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Roberto Marine scored 2-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vermudo Cucurull, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
