Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in UD Culcul's zone, Octavio Socorro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frutos Ocomardia came out of the goal and Octavio Socorro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Estupinan's Bernardo Ibarlucea got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 15th minute, Estupinan's Edson Villarragut dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Octavio Socorros short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Frutos Ocomardia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Roberto Marine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Valdivieso having to interfere. Flor Matheu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Luis Valdivieso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Marine in the 36th minute of the match. With 48 minutes on the clock, Viteri Valdes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UD Culcul! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Edson Villarragut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frutos Ocomardia having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Estupinan's Edson Villarragut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frutos Ocomardia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roberto Marine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Luis Valdivieso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flor Matheu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Roberto Marine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Culcul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Marine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flor Matheu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
