Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Villacres defense, Cántaro Villamil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demetrio Baracaldo. The Villacres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demetrio Baracaldo should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Villacres's Moises Velunza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Weterio Bien. That made the score 1-1 after 9 minutes of play. Cántaro Villamil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Demetrio Baracaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Sampil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Weterio Bien having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Moises Velunza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pilares's Weterio Bien was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Lucas Sampil came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Villacres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Sampil couldn't finish the play. Moises Velunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Weterio Bien having to interfere. Demetrio Baracaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cántaro Villamil, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pilares's goalkeeper Weterio Bien, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Villacres's zone, Adolfo Jado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrio Baracaldo came out of the goal and Adolfo Jado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Sampil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Weterio Bien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Jado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Demetrio Baracaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 minutes of play, Villacres's Xinaro Raigal made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Weterio Bien was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Velunza made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Pilares got a freekick which was hit by Aguinaga Galarza. In the 57th minute, Xinaro Raigal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Adolfo Jado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Baracaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demetrio Baracaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Jado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Villacres's Demetrio Baracaldo got control of the ball when Cántaro Villamil tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Lucas Sampil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villacres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Sampil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cántaro Villamil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Pilares's Yánez Campa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Yánez Campa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pilares protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Yánez Campa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Villacres a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Urritz Velandia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pilares's Weterio Bien. 3-1. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Pilares. Geovanny Cruzado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Demetrio Baracaldo. 3-2. In the 99th minute Pilares were awarded a corner. Geovanny Cruzado went to the cornerflag to take it. Juan-Pablo Quejura tried in the 100th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Demetrio Baracaldo a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 3-3. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
