Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Weterio Bien stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernandez Mendaña's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pilares's goalkeeper Weterio Bien, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aguinaga Galarza charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aguinaga Galarza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandez Mendaña in the 13th minute of play forced Pilares's goalkeeper Weterio Bien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coronel Viya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Weterio Bien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adolfo Jado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, one of Azoguez:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Azoguez. Weterio Bien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandez Mendaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xabel Babiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Jado in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Viya in the 36th minute of play forced Pilares's goalkeeper Weterio Bien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Adolfo Jado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Geovanny Cruzado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernandez Mendaña was the one to do the kick off. Pilares's Cántaro Villamil got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Azoguez's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Jado came free, but Xabel Babiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Weterio Bien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandez Mendaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Azoguez defense, Cántaro Villamil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xabel Babiano. The Azoguez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xabel Babiano should have stopped the shot. Weterio Bien made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Coronel Viya sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th match minute, Azoguez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Font to maneuver through the defense. Fernandez Mendaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Weterio Bien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pilares were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Azoguez for a fine match.
