Mario Valonga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Pablo Vicioso in the 41st minute of the match. Marcos Palomaress short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Vigil Alva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 47th minute John Maroño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Valonga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Reasco Molla made the kick off in the second half. Nicolás Villalpando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vigil Alva having to interfere. John Maroño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
