Miguel Achiaga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Walter Fontevilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Miguel Achiaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Fontevilla having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Miguel Achiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Herrero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viteri Nueva was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 26 minutes, Julio Muguia made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. CD Taramar's Viteri Nueva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Xesus Varon managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Taramar's supporters rose to their feet, but Xesus Varon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Fontevilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viteri Nueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Muguia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xesus Varon to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, CD Taramar's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Herrero came free, but Viteri Nueva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Payamino FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Taramar the free kick. Evelio Llantada kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Payamino FC's Walter Fontevilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesus Varon in the 94th minute of play. The CD Taramar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Payamino FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Payamino FC.
