Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Xalvador Cortes kicked off to start the match. When Sanchez Peñarroja came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Cruz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sanchez Peñarroja couldn't finish the play. Leon Almiron kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Xove Urrechua charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xove Urrechua the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cruz FC booed when UD Ubillus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xove Urrechua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovanni Zadaya, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Xaime Presa took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Briones. Rodrigo Briones dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 35 minutes into the match, UD Ubillus's goal looked a bit too open when Sanchez Peñarroja came free, but Rodrigo Briones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Escobar Coteron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xalvador Cortes, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Sanchez Peñarroja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Briones having to interfere. Xaime Presa struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Rodrigo Briones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruz FC. Sanchez Peñarroja scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Briones, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sanchez Peñarroja was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Sanchez Peñarroja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Briones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cruz FC's Escobar Coteron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estrada Irazu in the 56th minute of play. Xalvador Cortes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Escobar Coteron having to interfere. Estrada Irazu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xove Urrechua hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Briones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sanchez Peñarroja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
