Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alonso Rivacoba started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Robin Boladeras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaucan and the CD Pita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alonso Rivacoba might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xinaro Sagredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alonso Rivacoba ran back to his position shaking his head. Alonso Rivacoba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute Vennancio Pacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xinaro Sagredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Sancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 14th playminute. CD Pita's Ortíz Laguna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víctor Prus in the 18th minute of play. Alonso Rivacoba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xinaro Sagredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Ortíz Laguna came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Chaucan's Isaias Sancho. But to his dismay, Isaias Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Alonso Rivacoba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Xinaro Sagredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonso Rivacoba in the 46th minute of play forced Chaucan's goalkeeper Xinaro Sagredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Vennancio Pacio made a precise shot to the right of Xinaro Sagredo. Chaucan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Zuhaitz Lanza hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Xinaro Sagredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonso Rivacoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, CD Pita's goal looked a bit too open when Víctor Prus came free, but Ortíz Laguna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calisto Pamo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Xinaro Sagredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ortíz Laguna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víctor Prus, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Xinaro Sagredo was a little too slow when Alonso Rivacoba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Chaucan's zone, Alonso Rivacoba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xinaro Sagredo came out of the goal and Alonso Rivacoba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Chaucan could leave the field as winners, despite CD Pita having more of the ball for most of the match.
