Chaya FC's Victorino Saz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Sancho in the 7th minute of play. Robin Boladeras kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Xepe Chirinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victorino Saz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víctor Prus in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Chaucan's Xinaro Sagredo got control of the ball when Xacintu Franquis tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Chaya FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Marcos Subijana hit a great ball. Víctor Prus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Victorino Saz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chaucan! When the match had been going on for 25 minutes, Chaya FC's Vilson Estevis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Xinaro Sagredo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xacintu Franquis got free with Xinaro Sagredo in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Víctor Prus in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorino Saz saved Chaya FC from getting behind. Víctor Prus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Saz having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Víctor Prus made a kick off. Xacintu Franquis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Xinaro Sagredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xepe Chirinos in the 59th minute of the match. Vachon Ubago's late challenge caught a Chaucan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vachon Ubago helped the player get up and apologised. Vachon Ubago hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes, Xepe Chirinos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaya FC and the Chaucan players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Chaya FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Xepe Chirinos hit a great ball. John Botbol's late challenge caught a Chaucan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a little luck, Chaya FC's Victorino Saz got control of the ball when Isaias Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Chaya FC's Xacintu Franquis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xinaro Sagredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Chaya FC's Victorino Saz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Chaya FC from getting a goal against them. Víctor Prus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Saz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Isaias Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Saz having to interfere. With a little luck, Chaya FC's Victorino Saz got control of the ball when Isaias Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chaucan's Guagua Briceño got a free kick in the 87th minute. Isaias Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Chico Marrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chaya FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chaucan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
