Xove Cavada was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, UD Munoz's Garrido Jofre got control of the ball when Gonzales Solo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xove Cavada struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Vimaro Arainz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Munoz's goalkeeper Garrido Jofre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dani Chacin in the 48th minute of play forced Cojitambo's goalkeeper Vimaro Arainz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half UD Munoz were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Xove Cavada came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Cojitambo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xove Cavada couldn't finish the play. Dani Chacin struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Diaz Acebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xaiver Cortes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alberto Cando in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vimaro Arainz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Alberto Cando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vimaro Arainz made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Alberto Cando sent off a good shot on target.
