In the 7th minute, León Urtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th match minute, CD Pitahuasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Latorre to maneuver through the defense. CD Pitahuasi's Pepito Villegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save CD Pitahuasi from getting a goal against them. Alberto Cando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Pepito Villegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Alberto Cando fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pepito Villegas, passed just outside the right post. Dani Chacin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pepito Villegas having to make a save. Virila Urquioja charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virila Urquioja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xaiver Cortes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Augusto Cismado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Garrido Jofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, UD Munoz's Dani Chacin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pepito Villegas was left in no man's land by his defense there! CD Pitahuasi's Pepito Villegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dani Chacin in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, one of UD Munoz:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Cismado was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of UD Munoz booed when CD Pitahuasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Cardarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Cismado in the 58th minute of play forced UD Munoz's goalkeeper Garrido Jofre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes, Dani Chacin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Munoz and the CD Pitahuasi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The penalty shot was made by Xaiver Cortes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CD Pitahuasi's Pepito Villegas. 2-1. Garrido Jofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Cismado, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Dani Chacin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepito Villegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Teo Fururia fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Munoz's protests and gave Teo Fururia a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to UD Munoz getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Teo Fururia hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Augusto Cismado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garrido Jofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CD Pitahuasi's Ubendu Sierralta got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dani Chacin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
