Rinconada's Eduardo Luzano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marlon Almazan in the 23rd minute of play. When Urrutia Bien fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 46th minute Castillo Domaquia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Luzano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Bottero Pelegri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xaven Laguna was the one to do the kick off. Rinconada's Eduardo Luzano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Rinconada from getting a goal against them. UD Pastocalle's Jonathan Carne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Peart in the 81st minute of play. Valentin Porrata's late challenge caught a Rinconada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Porrata helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Valentin Porrata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 played minutes Rinconada got a freekick which was hit by Tyrone Eliseo. 98 minutes into the match, UD Pastocalle's Ibarra Argandoña broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The UD Pastocalle supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing UD Pastocalle would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
