Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Canaveral SC's Braulio Toranzo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Yamate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uhin Ambrosio to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Canaveral SC's zone, Uhin Ambrosio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Palomarez came out of the goal and Uhin Ambrosio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jácome Vidal in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Palomarez saved Canaveral SC from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Jácome Vidal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Canaveral SC's Rafael Palomarez. Rafael Palomarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute Uhin Ambrosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Palomarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Braulio Toranzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th play minute Emiliano Galve came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Xuban Ochandiano. 1-1. Xuban Ochandiano made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Emiliano Galve sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 37 minutes, Uhin Ambrosio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yamate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uhin Ambrosio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Uhin Ambrosio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yamate's supporters rose to their feet, but Uhin Ambrosio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Palomarez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jácome Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rafael Palomarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jácome Vidal to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Canaveral SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Toranzo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jácome Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Palomarez was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After having played for 56 minutes, Emiliano Galve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canaveral SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Galve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute Emiliano Galve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xuban Ochandiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Canaveral SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Orengo to maneuver through the defense. When Mauro Orengo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. When Yamate's Jácome Vidal in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canaveral SC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th minute of the match Washington Delatorre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Palomarez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Braulio Toranzo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Zenaido Anguiano hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Jerson Says, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Xuban Ochandiano came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Canaveral SC's Emiliano Galve. But to his dismay, Emiliano Galve quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Yamate's zone, Emiliano Galve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xuban Ochandiano came out of the goal and Emiliano Galve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uhin Ambrosio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Palomarez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
