An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Aneutes in the 27th minute of play forced Pusanuma SC's goalkeeper Valentim Padin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubén Lantaron made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Fernando Curueño sent off a good shot on target. After 31 minutes, Coronel Barzurqueta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pusanuma SC and the CD Taviasa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valentim Padin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saritama Arrazola in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to CD Taviasa getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Guamán Sanabre hit a great ball. Moisés Aneutes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Clusella hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48thth minute of the game Moisés Aneutes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pusanuma SC's Valentim Padin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saritama Arrazola to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Caicedo Bolonga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pusanuma SC's Valentim Padin didn't even have to move. Saritama Arrazola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Efrain Palmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Caicedo Bolonga came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the CD Taviasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caicedo Bolonga couldn't finish the play. Moisés Aneutes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roldan Castelo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Rubén Lantaron came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Pusanuma SC's Fernando Curueño. But to his dismay, Fernando Curueño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Marcos Clusella came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Pusanuma SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Clusella couldn't finish the play. Valentim Padin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saritama Arrazola, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Fernando Curueño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Clusella kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When Guamán Sanabre fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Taviasa's protests and gave Guamán Sanabre a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pusanuma SC booed when CD Taviasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roldan Castelo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
