Leonides Villarino kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Luciano Cardeño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan-Carlos Valls in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Ugaitz Regil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villafuerte Villarmerin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ugutz Rascon fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morascachu FC's protests and gave Ugutz Rascon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Morascachu FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ugutz Rascon hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Morascachu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramos Casabo came free, but Luciano Cardeño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Cardeño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Carlos Valls in the 41st minute of the match. Ugaitz Regil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ugaitz Regil scored 1-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Villafuerte Villarmerin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramos Casabo might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luciano Cardeño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramos Casabo ran back to his position shaking his head. Luciano Cardeño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramos Casabo in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Victor Balza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Chiguaza's goalkeeper Villafuerte Villarmerin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. UD Chiguaza's Villafuerte Villarmerin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ugaitz Regil in the 84th minute of play. Juan-Carlos Valls struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Luciano Cardeño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Chiguaza. When Morascachu FC's Ugaitz Regil in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Morascachu FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
