After 6 played minutes Novillo got a freekick which was hit by Vimaro Chave. After recieving a nice pass, Morascachu FC's Ugutz Rascon tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Damian Aranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Morascachu FC's Damian Aranda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virila Olañeta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ugaitz Regil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Vega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute, Leonides Villarino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Parada hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Luciano Cardeño was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Genaro Melon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Morascachu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Melon came free, but Luciano Cardeño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ugaitz Regil to make the kick off. Damian Aranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Virila Olañeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Morascachu FC's zone, Braulio Vega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Cardeño came out of the goal and Braulio Vega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Melon in the 60th minute of play forced Morascachu FC's goalkeeper Luciano Cardeño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Victor Balza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Cardeño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Vega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Novillo booed when Morascachu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Villayuste didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Melon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braulio Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Cardeño having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Novillo got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Melon. After 75th play minutes Ugaitz Regil shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Virila Olañeta and just under the crossbar into goal. If Genaro Melon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Vega in the 80th minute of play forced Morascachu FC's goalkeeper Luciano Cardeño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 played minutes Novillo got a freekick which was hit by Alex Parada. Virila Olañeta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ugaitz Regil's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After 86 played minutes Novillo got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Sobera. 96 minutes into the match, Novillo's goalkeeper Virila Olañeta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Aranda. During the 96th minute of the match Alex Parada completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alex Parada a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Alex Parada kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Vimaro Chave fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Cardeño having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
