Pedro Lomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cortez Cerdan having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Diego Capetillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gian-Carlo Arsuaga fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ficoa's protests and gave Gian-Carlo Arsuaga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Gian-Carlo Arsuaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yoelvis Colado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Cortez Cerdan made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Diego Capetillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubendu Garin was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Pedro Lomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubendu Garin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Capetillo in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Lomas in the 38th minute of play forced Ficoa's goalkeeper Cortez Cerdan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Yoelvis Colado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Cortez Cerdan managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Moravia FC's Yoelvis Colado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Capetillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Villota Alzedar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramirez Avellano's late challenge caught a Ficoa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramirez Avellano helped the player get up and apologised. Ramirez Avellano kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ubendu Garin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Villota Alzedar in the 65th minute. Pedro Lomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cortez Cerdan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play Ficoa's Gian-Carlo Arsuaga was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Yoelvis Colado might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cortez Cerdan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yoelvis Colado ran back to his position shaking his head. When Pedro Lomas came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Moravia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Lomas couldn't finish the play. Cortez Cerdan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Lomas's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Yoelvis Colado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th match minute, Ficoa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Padolles to maneuver through the defense. If Pedro Lomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Yoelvis Colado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Pedro Lomas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moravia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Lomas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
