In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Musmus's goalkeeper Xever Najar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Dannes Ocasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Musmus's supporters rose to their feet, but Dannes Ocasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Segundo Ayllon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The CD Musmus players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jimbiquiti SC were winning 1-2.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Xefe Herruz got free with Xever Najar in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute Guamán Odoardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Ayllon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dannes Ocasio in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Segundo Ayllon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dannes Ocasio's late challenge caught a Jimbiquiti SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dannes Ocasio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, CD Musmus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dannes Ocasio to maneuver through the defense.
