When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Carabalí Onis sped through Yaramine SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luis Valladolid. After having played for 11 minutes, Umbruso Gurendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astudillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Umbruso Gurendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos-Armando Ruidiez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astudillo's Xines Vuelva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos-Armando Ruidiez in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Yaramine SC got a freekick which was hit by Moises Gondin. Xines Vuelva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Barbon, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Astudillo defense, Sixto Barbon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xines Vuelva. The Astudillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xines Vuelva should have stopped the shot. After 30 minutes of play, Astudillo's Carabalí Onis made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis Valladolid was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a defensive mix-up in Yaramine SC's zone, Umbruso Gurendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Valladolid came out of the goal and Umbruso Gurendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Valladolid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carabalí Onis in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Yaramine SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Gaig to maneuver through the defense. Carabalí Onis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sixto Barbon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xines Vuelva having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Astudillo's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos-Armando Ruidiez came free, but Xines Vuelva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Umbruso Gurendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Luis Valladolid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Carlos-Armando Ruidiez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xines Vuelva. Carlos-Armando Ruidiez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. 83 minutes into the match, Yaramine SC's Carlos-Armando Ruidiez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xines Vuelva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute Carlos-Armando Ruidiez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xines Vuelva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Carlos-Armando Ruidiez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaramine SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos-Armando Ruidiez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xines Vuelva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Yaramine SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
