Luis Valladolid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Murieta in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to CD Ayantar getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Adrian Atienza hit a great ball. Igor Liceaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Barbon in the 6th minute of the match. Igor Liceaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos-Armando Ruidiez in the 9th minute of play. When Edmundo Otal fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaramine SC's protests and gave Edmundo Otal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Yaramine SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Otal to maneuver through the defense. Uriel Aldama, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cuero Blasini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Valladolid having to make a save. A collision led to CD Ayantar getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Adrian Atienza hit a great ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Carlos-Armando Ruidiez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Ayantar's Igor Liceaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th match minute, CD Ayantar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Atienza to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Cuero Blasini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Carlos-Armando Ruidiez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Walter Beysama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CD Ayantar booed when Yaramine SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Gaig didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos-Armando Ruidiez to make the kick off. Carlos-Armando Ruidiez's late challenge caught a CD Ayantar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos-Armando Ruidiez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, Yaramine SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos-Armando Ruidiez to maneuver through the defense. Luis Valladolid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Beysama in the 54th minute of play. Sixto Barbon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Igor Liceaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Atienza hit a great ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Carlos-Armando Ruidiez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaramine SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos-Armando Ruidiez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos-Armando Ruidiez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Igor Liceaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Liceaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos-Armando Ruidiez in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Cuero Blasini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Beysama in the 76th minute of play forced Yaramine SC's goalkeeper Luis Valladolid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yaramine SC's Carlos-Armando Ruidiez got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walter Beysama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Yaramine SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cuero Blasini came free, but Luis Valladolid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CD Ayantar getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jaime Murieta hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Teo Salinas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CD Ayantar's Igor Liceaga didn't even have to move. Sixto Barbon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Igor Liceaga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 96 played minutes CD Ayantar got a freekick which was hit by Iván Caraballo. Igor Liceaga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos-Armando Ruidiez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 99 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yaramine SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
