The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, UD Palosolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Ugalde to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the match, CD Vieneza's Jorge Marron broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 6th minute Ugutz Liviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Villalambrus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xaime Echeto in the 7th minute of play forced UD Palosolo's goalkeeper Daniel Villalambrus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anangonó Talaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the match, CD Vieneza's goalkeeper Estacio Orsini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anangonó Talaga. Estacio Orsini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepito Matas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd match minute, CD Vieneza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ordóñez Muñiz to maneuver through the defense. Estacio Orsini acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Guerrón Achutegui. Estacio Orsini made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Anangonó Talaga sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Ugutz Liviano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 minutes, Xaime Echeto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Vieneza and the UD Palosolo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, CD Vieneza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xaime Echeto to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Marron shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 56 minutes, Lavallén Usategui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Vieneza and the UD Palosolo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lavallén Usategui hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Pepito Matas managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Palosolo's supporters rose to their feet, but Pepito Matas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Estacio Orsini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of UD Palosolo booed when CD Vieneza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. José-Manuel Anaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Machado Inchausti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Estacio Orsini. CD Vieneza's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 66th match minute, CD Vieneza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Beyso to maneuver through the defense. After 73 minutes, Jorge Marron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Vieneza and the UD Palosolo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th match minute, UD Palosolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoelvis Janez to maneuver through the defense. UD Palosolo succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though CD Vieneza had controlled the match.
