The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, CD Tunduana's Patricio Puertas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yader Cuebas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yader Cuebas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Patricio Puertas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes Ucubamba got a freekick which was hit by López Iracheta. Yader Cuebas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kléber Loyola's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Benjamin Guia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Tunduana's Javier Lejarazu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Benjamin Guia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Lejarazu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yader Cuebas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Loyola in the 25th minute of play. If Kléber Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Puertas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Yader Cuebas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Patricio Puertas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ucubamba getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Palacios Villapadierna hit a great ball. Ucubamba's Yader Cuebas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Loyola in the 38th minute of play. Patricio Puertas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Yader Cuebas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ucubamba's Yader Cuebas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Loyola in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Guia made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Kléber Loyola got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 53rd match minute, Ucubamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xosepe Camerin to maneuver through the defense. Kléber Loyola hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of CD Tunduana:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ucubamba:s goal. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Ucubamba. Pico Carnicero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Javier Lejarazu. 1-0. If Benjamin Guia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Guia in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Lejarazu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Javier Lejarazu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Ratra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rocio Aranzazu's late challenge caught a Ucubamba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rocio Aranzazu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CD Tunduana's Rocio Aranzazu got a free kick in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, CD Tunduana's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Guia came free, but Javier Lejarazu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Benjamin Guia notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of CD Tunduana's Javier Lejarazu. Javier Lejarazu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 83 minutes, Zayvion Hordoñez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ucubamba and the CD Tunduana players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ucubamba getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Zayvion Hordoñez hit a great ball. Kléber Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Ucubamba:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CD Tunduana:s goal. When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, CD Tunduana's Ricardo Brochero got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Yader Cuebas. Yader Cuebas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patricio Puertas in the 92nd minute. Benjamin Guia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Puertas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yader Cuebas having to interfere. The Ucubamba support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
