Mollepungo FC's Estacio Marchamalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Pellicer in the 5th minute of play. Oswaldo Ennecon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vigil Salas having to interfere. Oswaldo Ennecon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Vigil Salas made a huge save. Lucio Carrillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Oswaldo Ennecon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Pasaje got a freekick which was hit by Andres Collantes. Zernin Morejon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Pasaje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Espinoza Brugos to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Paúl Asegninolaza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pasaje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mollepungo FC the free kick. The supporters of Mollepungo FC booed when Pasaje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paúl Asegninolaza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Carrillo in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Estacio Marchamalo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Pasaje's Vigil Salas got control of the ball when Oswaldo Ennecon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Lucio Carrillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Estacio Marchamalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zernin Morejon to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Carrillo in the 53rd minute of play forced Mollepungo FC's goalkeeper Estacio Marchamalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zarando Loza during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vigil Salas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Ennecon, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Perlaza Letatu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Estacio Marchamalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Carrillo in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Silvio Pellicer made a precise shot to the right of Estacio Marchamalo. Mollepungo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 80 minutes, Andres Collantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pasaje and the Mollepungo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Estacio Marchamalo made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Silvio Pellicer sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the match, Lucio Carrillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Estacio Marchamalo, 0-3. Pasaje's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
