Umea Arenzano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Olazaran in the 3rd minute of play. Ramón Valea made a great header on CD Pimampiro's corner, it was just that Cushcapa's Umea Arenzano managed to reach the ball for a save. CD Pimampiro's Hernandez Rubiños proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save CD Pimampiro from getting a goal against them. Umea Arenzano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Verdugo in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Cushcapa getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Franklin Albar hit a great ball. Patricio Olazaran scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Umea Arenzano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Cushcapa's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Verdugo came free, but Umea Arenzano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CD Pimampiro's Ximenes Dehesa got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cushcapa's Franklin Albar got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Umea Arenzano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Verdugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Romo Borregon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Cancel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernandez Rubiños having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Daniel Lavega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, Cushcapa's Victorio Torrens got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hernandez Rubiños. Peter Cancel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hernandez Rubiños tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Cancel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romo Borregon made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Verdugo in the 57th minute of play forced Cushcapa's goalkeeper Umea Arenzano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernandez Rubiños took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romo Borregon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64thth minute of the game Romo Borregon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Pimampiro's Hernandez Rubiños was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Xaven Agado fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cushcapa's protests and gave Xaven Agado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Cushcapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xaven Agado to maneuver through the defense. If Benjamin Verdugo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Umea Arenzano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Olazaran went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Romo Borregon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernandez Rubiños having to interfere. CD Pimampiro's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
