Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jobo's José-Manuel Reyna started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José-Manuel Reyna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Flecha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Ascorbe was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After having played for 12 minutes, Lucas Lombraña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Mache's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Lombraña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Flecha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Ascorbe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to CD Mache getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Oscar Miel hit a great ball. Lucas Lombraña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Carlos Ascorbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute José-Manuel Reyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Lombraña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Ascorbe having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jobo's zone, Alfredo Flecha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Ascorbe came out of the goal and Alfredo Flecha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Lombraña took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Ascorbe. Carlos Ascorbe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 43rd minute, Alfredo Flecha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Mache fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 49th match minute, CD Mache was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Miel to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Norberto Longoria managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Mache's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Longoria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Ascorbe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Llamazares in the 63rd minute of play forced CD Mache's goalkeeper Armando Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Jobo booed when CD Mache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Flecha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Lombraña who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Carlos Ascorbe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alfredo Flecha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Ascorbe having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Alfredo Flecha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the final whistle sounded CD Mache left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jobo.
