Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacinto Feruel started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Valparaiso got a freekick which was hit by Poroso Naranjo. Adolfo Corral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavon Fariñas having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Moreta Balanzuela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valparaiso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romeros the free kick. A collision led to Valparaiso getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Moreta Balanzuela hit a great ball. Xiao Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Zurbano in the 11th minute of the match. Adolfo Corral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Xavon Fariñas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Corral struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Xavon Fariñas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romeros. Edwin Zurbano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xiao Abadia came out and tried to block the shot, but Edwin Zurbano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Poroso Naranjo came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Xiao Abadia could save by the left post. Valparaiso's Poroso Naranjo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilfredo Peñacastillo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Xiao Abadia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from García Celama. Poroso Naranjo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xiao Abadia having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Valparaiso's Poroso Naranjo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xiao Abadia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xavon Fariñas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krikorian Gimenez in the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Jacinto Feruel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romeros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Feruel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xavon Fariñas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Corral in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edwin Zurbano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Ximen Eiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valparaiso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romeros the free kick. After a rather tough play, Valparaiso's Ximen Eiros got a free kick in the 54th minute. Xavon Fariñas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Feruel's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The supporters of Romeros booed when Valparaiso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vellito Franquis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Valparaiso's zone, Jacinto Feruel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavon Fariñas came out of the goal and Jacinto Feruel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Poroso Naranjo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xiao Abadia. Romeros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Poroso Naranjo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Poroso Naranjo took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xiao Abadia. Xiao Abadia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 75th minute, Poroso Naranjo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Poroso Naranjo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavon Fariñas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Corral in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Romeros's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Zurbano came free, but Xiao Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Edwin Zurbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xiao Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Poroso Naranjo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Xiao Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeros's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
