Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Boris Sedillo made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Espinola Balladares during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Manandel! After having played for 8 minutes, Miguel Xandri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabuyal SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Xandri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th match minute, Cabuyal SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Xandri to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Menoyo's late challenge caught a Cabuyal SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Menoyo helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Segundo Cardiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabuyal SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Cardiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yaniusky Lizarazu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Cañada got free with Yaniusky Lizarazu in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Segundo Cardiel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Segundo Cardiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boris Sedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rodney Burset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yaniusky Lizarazu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Cardiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Edgardo Cañada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Segundo Cardiel made the kick off in the second half. Segundo Cardiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaniusky Lizarazu having to interfere. After some careless play in the Manandel defense, Segundo Cardiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yaniusky Lizarazu. The Manandel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yaniusky Lizarazu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Cardiel in the 57th minute of play forced Manandel's goalkeeper Yaniusky Lizarazu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Segundo Cardiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaniusky Lizarazu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Cardiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Claudio Palazuelo made a precise shot to the right of Rodney Burset. Cabuyal SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Rodney Burset made an important save on a dangerous shot by Morán Runs in the 79th minute. Wilfredo Pelaez hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Morán Runs came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Manandel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morán Runs couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute Boris Sedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodney Burset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Boris Sedillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodney Burset was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Manandel's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
