In the 2nd minute, Xavieon Bachicabo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CD Macuchi's Ignacio Avina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Cubero in the 5th minute of play. After 7 minutes, Paulo Salas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Macuchi and the Escalera FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Ricardo Mendaña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignacio Avina was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th minute Ricardo Mendaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Avina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xarles Gabi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Castillo Salvador sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Escalera FC's Hugo Huerta didn't even have to move. Escalera FC's Hugo Huerta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Janer in the 21st minute of play. Luciano Cubero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Escalera FC's zone, Paulo Salas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Huerta came out of the goal and Paulo Salas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Escalera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Janer came free, but Hugo Huerta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, CD Macuchi's Teo Janer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Paulo Salas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Hugo Huerta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 43 minutes into the match, CD Macuchi's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Cubero came free, but Ignacio Avina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Cubero to make the kick off. With a little luck, CD Macuchi's Ignacio Avina got control of the ball when Ricardo Mendaña tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Janer in the 58th minute of play forced Escalera FC's goalkeeper Hugo Huerta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Cubero struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ignacio Avina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escalera FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Salas in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Huerta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugo Huerta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Salas in the 65th minute of play. Hugo Huerta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Janer in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match, Luciano Cubero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ignacio Avina saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 76 minutes into the match, Escalera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Janer came free, but Hugo Huerta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Ricardo Mendaña got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Paulo Salas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Mendaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ignacio Avina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Ignacio Avina managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Escalera FC's Ricardo Mendaña fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 90 minutes, Fernandez Rotalo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Escalera FC and the CD Macuchi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Fernandez Rotalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
