Trivniño Alegria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Loco Colado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Michael Dopazo, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Pañalosa during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tase getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Leonardo Pañalosa hit a great ball. Ubendu Mendibuey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uzuri Guinao went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ubendu Mendibuey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uzuri Guinao, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trivniño Alegria to make the kick off.
