Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Alexander Vegal scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xaver Lucero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xaver Lucero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trivniño Alegria in the 8th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trivniño Alegria in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xaver Lucero saved Catamayo FC from getting behind. Alexander Vegal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Trivniño Alegria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xaver Lucero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Vegal's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Raimundo Grijalba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alexander Vegal fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celica SC's protests and gave Alexander Vegal a yellow card for diving instead. Garrido Padro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ubendu Mendibuey came out and tried to block the shot, but Garrido Padro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 35th minute. Garrido Padro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ubendu Mendibuey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Celica SC's Checa Neila got a free kick in the 44th minute. Ubendu Mendibuey made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Garrido Padro sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trivniño Alegria to make the kick off. Garrido Padro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubendu Mendibuey having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Celica SC's Checa Neila got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Rodolfo Errarte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Celica SC's Ubendu Mendibuey didn't even have to move. Garrido Padro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trivniño Alegria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paz Closa charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paz Closa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th match minute, Celica SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paz Closa to maneuver through the defense. Celica SC's Ubendu Mendibuey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garrido Padro in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Zavier Cantera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celica SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yépez Muruve in the 89th minute. The corner led Celica SC's Yépez Muruve to fire away a dangerous shot which Xaver Lucero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 91st minute, Celica SC's Trivniño Alegria dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
