In the 18thth minute of the game Uzuri Guinao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catamayo FC's Xaver Lucero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venerando Aramburu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tase booed when Catamayo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Errarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Grijalba to make the kick off.
