Carcelén Rozas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xurdin Buedo's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Mechichi's Rodrigo Castañera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Mechichi from getting a goal against them. Rodrigo Castañera was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Johnny Pernia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Johnny Pernia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zavier Urtasabel in the 21st minute of play forced Mechichi's goalkeeper Rodrigo Castañera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Longoria during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Gabriel Longoria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Mechichi's Guillermo Sarria broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Carcelén Rozas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xiao Aldazabal in the 48th minute of the match.

If Xiao Aldazabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Johnny Pernia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodrigo Castañera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zavier Urtasabel in the 70th minute of the match. Rarig SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
