In the 14th minute, Pio Saes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blandón Olabarrieta in the 18th minute of play forced CD Lazareto's goalkeeper Rogerio Ubiña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blandón Olabarrieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Tablazon booed when CD Lazareto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Vallejoller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavel Macias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calisto Cañon hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes Tablazon got a freekick which was hit by Calisto Cañon. Zenon Chasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pio Saes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Zenon Chasco made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Valiente Bermudez sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blandón Olabarrieta to make the kick off. When Pavel Macias came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Tablazon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Macias couldn't finish the play. If Blandón Olabarrieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. Tablazon's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
