The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aguirre Gegundez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valiente Bermudez might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aguirre Gegundez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valiente Bermudez ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Trozana getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sánchez Poblaciàn hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Libertad Cubian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Trozana's Ysmael Saavedra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rogerio Ubiña. Rogerio Ubiña yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Ysmael Saavedra in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rogerio Ubiña, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Trozana getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eduardo Cerda hit a great ball. CD Lazareto's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Celso Estremiana scored to the left of an out of position Rogerio Ubiña, making the score, 3-0. In the 44th minute Pio Saes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aguirre Gegundez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aguirre Gegundez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pio Saes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pio Saes made the kick off in the second half. CD Lazareto were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Trozana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hernández Carabajal took the corner. If Ysmael Saavedra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Estremiana struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rogerio Ubiña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trozana. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Lazareto's Pio Saes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aguirre Gegundez. That made the score 3-1 after 66 minutes of play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Celso Estremiana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Lazareto's Rogerio Ubiña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rogerio Ubiña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Estremiana in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ysmael Saavedra in the 93rd minute of play forced CD Lazareto's goalkeeper Rogerio Ubiña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
