Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Muyurcu's Hugo Juan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Caicedo Marron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiriboga Batalle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muyurcu's Chiriboga Batalle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caicedo Marron in the 4th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Muyurcu got a freekick which was hit by Xavion Urruela. With a little luck, Yawaentza FC's Ramírez Lapenya got control of the ball when Pedro Canto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Juan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ramírez Lapenya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Juan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramírez Lapenya having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Yawaentza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavion Baroja to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Juan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Muyurcu defense, Caicedo Marron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chiriboga Batalle. The Muyurcu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chiriboga Batalle should have stopped the shot. Yawaentza FC's Ramírez Lapenya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavion Urruela in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Yawaentza FC's goalkeeper Ramírez Lapenya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Rionda. Victoro Pascual's late challenge caught a Yawaentza FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoro Pascual helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Muyurcu got a freekick which was hit by Victoro Pascual. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caicedo Marron to make the kick off. A collision led to Muyurcu getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Emilio Yzarra hit a great ball. In the 57th match minute, Yawaentza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caicedo Marron to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Muyurcu's Hugo Juan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramírez Lapenya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Yawaentza FC's Rafael Lobado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chiriboga Batalle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 66 minutes, Rafael Lobado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yawaentza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Lobado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xavion Baroja kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Rionda in the 80th minute of play forced Yawaentza FC's goalkeeper Ramírez Lapenya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiriboga Batalle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caicedo Marron in the 84th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Jorge Rionda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramírez Lapenya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Lobado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
