Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Caicedo Marron kicked off to start the match. Juan Monje recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Yawaentza FC's zone, Leonel Elano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramírez Lapenya came out of the goal and Leonel Elano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Juan Monje fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 14 minutes into the match, Yawaentza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Monje came free, but Ramírez Lapenya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Elano got free with Ramírez Lapenya in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barcelona SC's Bone Lapenya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caicedo Marron in the 19th minute of play. Joaquin Pando charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Pando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bone Lapenya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caicedo Marron, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Vinicio Balbas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcelona SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yawaentza FC the free kick. A collision led to Barcelona SC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Vinicio Balbas hit a great ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Juan Monje who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yawaentza FC's Ramírez Lapenya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bone Lapenya came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Yawaentza FC's Caicedo Marron. But to his dismay, Caicedo Marron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 36th minute, Rafael Lobado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Caicedo Marron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yawaentza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caicedo Marron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bone Lapenya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barcelona SC's Vinicio Balbas got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Vinicio Balbas off the ground. Caicedo Marron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Elano made a kick off. A hard shot by Urtun Vasquez from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Bone Lapenya's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Rafael Lobado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bone Lapenya having to interfere. If Leonel Elano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caicedo Marron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Caicedo Marron came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Yawaentza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caicedo Marron couldn't finish the play. If Rafael Lobado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Lobado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bone Lapenya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. If Leonel Elano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Leonel Elano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcelona SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Elano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Ramiro Peregrin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
