Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Chipuloma SC's Zelipe Valonga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Muyurcu's Chiriboga Batalle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrossi Viergol in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Zelipe Valonga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiriboga Batalle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muyurcu's Chiriboga Batalle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Muyurcu from getting a goal against them. Chiriboga Batalle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zelipe Valonga in the 13th minute of play. Chipuloma SC's Hugo Laiz got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chipuloma SC's Zelipe Valonga got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Juan struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Christobal Arintero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muyurcu. Christobal Arintero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Juan in the 22nd minute of play. Muyurcu were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Chipuloma SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victoro Pascual took the corner. In the 29th minute of the match, Zelipe Valonga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chiriboga Batalle saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 29 played minutes Chipuloma SC got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Veraza. Muyurcu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victoro Pascual in the 33rd minute. Muyurcu's Victoro Pascual was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christobal Arintero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hugo Laiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiriboga Batalle having to interfere. Jorge Rionda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christobal Arintero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Juan in the 42nd minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Juan to make the kick off. Hugo Laiz struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Chiriboga Batalle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chipuloma SC. In the 54thth minute of the game Zelipe Valonga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muyurcu's Chiriboga Batalle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Muyurcu's zone, Zelipe Valonga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiriboga Batalle came out of the goal and Zelipe Valonga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christobal Arintero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Juan in the 68th minute of play. Zelipe Valonga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiriboga Batalle having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zelipe Valonga in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiriboga Batalle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 played minutes, Chipuloma SC's Costante Sagredo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chiriboga Batalle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chipuloma SC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Muyurcu's zone, Hugo Laiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiriboga Batalle came out of the goal and Hugo Laiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Hugo Laiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chiriboga Batalle. Muyurcu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Laiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Muyurcu's Chiriboga Batalle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Laiz in the 91st minute of play. Zelipe Valonga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chipuloma SC fully deserved thier win.
