Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Osorio Tello started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Teresita getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Hector Cabrero hit a great ball. Damian Calva's late challenge caught a UD Paquintza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Calva helped the player get up and apologised. Damian Calva kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Moreta Paza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Juarros hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Paiva Villa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moreta Paza, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the UD Paquintza defense, Moreta Paza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paiva Villa. The UD Paquintza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paiva Villa should have stopped the shot. Jacinto Ondategui was a little too slow when Enrique Avendaño got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osorio Tello in the 29th minute of play forced Teresita's goalkeeper Jacinto Ondategui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Teresita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zunbeltz Zalon to maneuver through the defense. Osorio Tello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Ondategui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Jacinto Ondategui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osorio Tello's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Osorio Tello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacinto Ondategui having to make a save. When UD Paquintza's Osorio Tello in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Teresita's goalie prevented a goal. Jacinto Ondategui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osorio Tello, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Osorio Tello might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Ondategui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osorio Tello ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Candelo in the 47th minute of play forced UD Paquintza's goalkeeper Paiva Villa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximo Candelo was the one to do the kick off. If Moreta Paza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, UD Paquintza's Patricio Juarros got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Teresita getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Zunbeltz Zalon hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Avendaño in the 57th minute of play forced Teresita's goalkeeper Jacinto Ondategui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Avendaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paiva Villa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Candelo in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Maximo Candelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paiva Villa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute Enrique Avendaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Ondategui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Teresita's Zunbeltz Zalon got a free kick in the 76th minute. Paiva Villa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Candelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moreta Paza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moreta Paza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Paiva Villa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moreta Paza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paiva Villa having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Zunbeltz Zalon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute of the match Zambrano Vea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Ondategui showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Teresita eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
