Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pinas's Vincente Cubillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Manuel Dueñas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinas's Ricardo Abalos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Manuel Dueñas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Abalos was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After 5 minutes, Pinto Urreta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinas and the Pucashpa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute Alex Ballestero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Lavijo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pinas's zone, Manuel Dueñas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Abalos came out of the goal and Manuel Dueñas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Pucashpa's Paz Reina got a free kick in the 12th minute. Alex Ballestero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Abalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Mauro Calero hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes, Octavio Palencia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pucashpa and the Pinas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Octavio Palencia kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Alex Ballestero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alex Ballestero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paz Reina hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ricardo Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Ballestero in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Dueñas was the one to do the kick off. When Angel Noguera fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinas's protests and gave Angel Noguera a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pucashpa booed when Pinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Noguera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Calero during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mauro Calero kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Pucashpa's goal looked a bit too open when Aragón Barron came free, but Emilio Trincado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pinas's Alex Munguira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emilio Trincado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vincente Cubillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pinas's Vincente Cubillo got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Munguira charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Munguira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Munguira kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Ricardo Abalos made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Xarles Ocejo sent off a good shot on target. When Pinto Urreta was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. In the 79th match minute, Pinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pinto Urreta to maneuver through the defense. Octavio Palencia got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 83rd minute, Octavio Palencia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pucashpa's Emilio Trincado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aragón Barron in the 85th minute of play. Pinas's Vincente Cubillo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Pucashpa getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Paz Reina hit a great ball. Aragón Barron might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Trincado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aragón Barron ran back to his position shaking his head. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
