The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Frutos Miña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tugaduaya SC's Kaviedes Gorbea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Tugaduaya SC from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute, Vidal Caselles made a precise shot to the right of Kaviedes Gorbea. Tugaduaya SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Murillo Pliego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ignacio Mareide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo Pliego in the 23rd minute of play forced Rincon's goalkeeper Ignacio Mareide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Tugaduaya SC's goalkeeper Kaviedes Gorbea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vidal Caselles. When Murillo Pliego came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Tugaduaya SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murillo Pliego couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Rincon's zone, Sánchez Macorra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Mareide came out of the goal and Sánchez Macorra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Kaviedes Gorbea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidal Caselles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frutos Miña hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Tugaduaya SC's Sánchez Macorra got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sánchez Macorra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kaviedes Gorbea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodney Ronquillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaviedes Gorbea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vidal Caselles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaviedes Gorbea having to interfere. Sánchez Macorra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ignacio Mareide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rincon's Xuaco Comparada got a free kick in the 79th minute. Borja Cucurull kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Rodney Ronquillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Vidal Caselles notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Tugaduaya SC's Kaviedes Gorbea. Kaviedes Gorbea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vidal Caselles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
