Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when González Areces kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes Malpas SC got a freekick which was hit by Urtsin Fuentecilla. 7 minutes into the match, Malpas SC's González Areces sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Beysama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan-Pablo Arceo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Egas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Zenaido Ubilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. González Areces fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Beysama having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calderón Leira during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Egas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calderón Leira to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Egas booed when Malpas SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urtsin Fuentecilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. González Areces's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Beysama read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Vedillo Guim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Egas and the Malpas SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Egas's Vedillo Guim got a free kick in the 27th minute. The supporters of Malpas SC booed when Egas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mane Enebro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bolívar Retes charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bolívar Retes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Malpas SC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Bolívar Retes hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Juan-Pablo Arceo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Juan-Pablo Arceo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egas's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan-Pablo Arceo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldeón Helguera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Zenaido Ubilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zenaido Ubilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 62 minutes, Zenaido Ubilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malpas SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zenaido Ubilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Zenaido Ubilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 played minutes Egas got a freekick which was hit by Calderón Leira. González Areces fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Beysama having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Malpas SC's Zenaido Ubilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reynaldo Beysama made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Zenaido Ubilla struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Reynaldo Beysama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malpas SC. An unexpectedly hard shot by González Areces in the 97th minute of play forced Egas's goalkeeper Reynaldo Beysama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 99 minutes in the game, González Areces fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Reynaldo Beysama having to interfere. Malpas SC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Egas had won, even though Malpas SC had held more of the ball.
