Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fortunato Alcolea took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute of the match Carlos Borica sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xinaro Chirghentino skillfully saved the ball. When Fortunato Alcolea came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Galpan SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fortunato Alcolea couldn't finish the play. Fortunato Alcolea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xinaro Chirghentino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. If Edgar Pandilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Fortunato Alcolea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xinaro Chirghentino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Christian Centeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Galpan SC's zone, Morán Ayllon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Moroño came out of the goal and Morán Ayllon tried to chip the ball over his head. When Galpan SC's Fortunato Alcolea in 31 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Xinaro Chirghentino guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 32 played minutes Taquil got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Affonso. If Edgar Pandilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Pandilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xinaro Chirghentino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Pandilla in the 39th minute of the match. Jama Trasierra hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Christian Centeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Claudio Moroño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Moroño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Centeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fortunato Alcolea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Edgar Pandilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xinaro Chirghentino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Pandilla ran back to his position shaking his head. Claudio Moroño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morán Ayllon in the 58th minute of the match. Morán Ayllon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xinaro Chirghentino made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Marquez Periceira sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Jama Trasierra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taquil's supporters rose to their feet, but Jama Trasierra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Moroño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Galpan SC's Marquez Periceira got a free kick in the 80th minute. Carnero Virues kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Galpan SC's zone, Christian Centeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Moroño came out of the goal and Christian Centeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Galpan SC's goal looked a bit too open when Morán Ayllon came free, but Claudio Moroño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Pandilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fortunato Alcolea hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Taquil's Xinaro Chirghentino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Taquil from getting a goal against them. The Galpan SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
