Lastra Azua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Walme Aras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walme Aras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Montane, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 55th match minute, Secas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandez Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Carazon SC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Sergio Montane hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walme Lima during the 60th minute. Garcés Saldivar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Alvarado, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Garcés Saldivar came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Secas's Angelo Alvarado. But to his dismay, Angelo Alvarado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Sergio Montane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garcés Saldivar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Alvarado in the 84th minute of the match. Garcés Saldivar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Alvarado went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The Secas players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
