After a defensive mix-up in Quinchul SC's zone, Renán Gener stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martinez Partearroyo came out of the goal and Renán Gener tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xalvador Vialpando who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Martinez Partearroyo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Zuhaitz Alfebra came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Quinchul SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zuhaitz Alfebra couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Quinchul SC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. David Quiroga hit a great ball. Martinez Partearroyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Bandera, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A hard shot 19 in the game by Xalvador Vialpando from a close distance when the talented Martinez Partearroyo managed to make a qualified save. Quinchul SC's players were relieved. Xalvador Vialpando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Martinez Partearroyo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xalvador Vialpando got free with Martinez Partearroyo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 31 minutes, Renán Gener managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renán Gener was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Xalvador Vialpando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jama's supporters rose to their feet, but Xalvador Vialpando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martinez Partearroyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Bran Pinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paúl Meruendano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vermudo Belluga hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xencio Caracedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Xencio Caracedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bran Pinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paúl Meruendano having to interfere. Bran Pinos had several of the Jama's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Paúl Meruendano as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mateo Bandera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Zuhaitz Alfebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bran Pinos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Paúl Meruendano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Quinchul SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quinchul SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
