A very good chance for a goal. 22 minutes into the match, CD Guasuntos's goal looked a bit too open when Urdin Navarro came free, but Zadornin Entrena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Reasco Dieguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zadornin Entrena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reasco Dieguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zadornin Entrena having to interfere. Zadornin Entrena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urdin Navarro in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Urdin Navarro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zadornin Entrena was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Pimampiro's Reasco Dieguez got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

CD Guasuntos's Sergio Tene suffered a sprained foot after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Xose Espantoso hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. CD Guasuntos's Nicolas Romai got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzales Abalos might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Unai Arrieta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonzales Abalos ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 72 minutes, Gonzales Abalos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Guasuntos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzales Abalos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zadornin Entrena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reasco Dieguez in the 76th minute of play. Gonzales Abalos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Unai Arrieta having to make a save. When Nicolas Romai fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Guasuntos's protests and gave Nicolas Romai a yellow card for diving instead. Xamo Moixi charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xamo Moixi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CD Guasuntos getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Xamo Moixi hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pimampiro walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
