The goalkeeper, Costante Moixi, was totally fooled by Chontamarca FC's Yambay Pradias, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Costante Moixi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cruz Montiano in the 19th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Chontamarca FC's Cruz Montiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Costante Moixi. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. Chontamarca FC's Cruz Montiano got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costante Moixi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cruz Montiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Cutuntza FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Cristian Venero's late challenge caught a Chontamarca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cutuntza FC's Costante Moixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cruz Montiano in the 77th minute of play. Chontamarca FC's Cruz Montiano got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cruz Montiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costante Moixi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cruz Montiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Joffre Maquilanda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Victoriano Albear made a huge save. Cutuntza FC's Cristian Venero got his second yellow card of the match in the 97th minute. The referee ordered Cristian Venero off the ground. Cristian Venero kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Costante Moixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Montiano in the 99th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chontamarca FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cutuntza FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
