Pedro Coronel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Adarzo having to interfere. In the 6th minute Mario Pascual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Adarzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CD Moscoso getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Freddy Rotaetamorga hit a great ball. If Pedro Coronel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 13 minutes, Leonel Guardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Moscoso and the Racor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nunez Adarzo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Pedro Coronel sent off a good shot on target. Racor's Lucas Barreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noriega Sobarzo in the 27th minute of play. If Pedro Coronel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nunez Adarzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Pascual in the 31st minute of the match. Racor's Mario Pascual got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Noriega Sobarzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Uhin Artigue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Mario Pascual managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Pascual was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Pascual stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Lossada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Barreiro having to interfere. Uhin Artigue's late challenge caught a CD Moscoso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Jonatan Lossada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, CD Moscoso's Lucas Barreiro threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Noriega Sobarzo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 90 minutes into the match, CD Moscoso's goal looked a bit too open when Blandón Padin came free, but Nunez Adarzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Pedro Coronel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Adarzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Adarzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Pascual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The CD Moscoso supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD Moscoso would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
