In the 16th minute Xofre Rengifo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ordonez Gajardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tondoa's Andres Arana was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience was convinced that Xofre Rengifo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ordonez Gajardo was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Enrique Sandines left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Dueta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Kléber Gandarillas hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Enrique Sandines managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Dueta's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Sandines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ordonez Gajardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ordonez Gajardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xofre Rengifo in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Tondoa booed when UD Dueta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xantalen Amarita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Texeira Tama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alvaro Herrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Texeira Tama's late challenge caught a UD Dueta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andres Arana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tondoa getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alarcón Nalda hit a great ball. The supporters of UD Dueta booed when Tondoa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber Gandarillas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xofre Rengifo in the 43rd minute of play forced Tondoa's goalkeeper Ordonez Gajardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Batista Gigante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tondoa's Ordonez Gajardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Sandines in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Texeira Tama stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Andres Arana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tondoa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Arana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Tondoa's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Sandines came free, but Ordonez Gajardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alarcón Nalda hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Xofre Rengifo took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ordonez Gajardo. Ordonez Gajardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Roque Quiles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tondoa getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Batista Gigante hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Enrique Sandines was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Dueta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tondoa the free kick. Enrique Sandines hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Alvaro Herrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Arana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Sandines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ordonez Gajardo having to interfere. When Andres Arana got free in front of the goal in the 78th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Alvaro Herrero was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, UD Dueta's Xantalen Amarita got a free kick in the 79th minute. Andres Arana struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Alvaro Herrero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tondoa. Alarcón Nalda hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Tondoa's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Sandines came free, but Ordonez Gajardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
