If Virgilio Argomedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 32 minutes into the match, Cienaga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xavian Atauri came free, but Rolando Villayres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Villayres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Llago in the 33rd minute of the match. Rolando Villayres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Llago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Virgilio Argomedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marin Llago was the one to do the kick off. After 67 minutes of play, Masaca FC's Marin Llago made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Villayres was left in no man's land by his defense there!
