Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Loropico SC's López Porregimon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abel Mel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Fernandez Montoto made a huge save. Cuchitingue SC's Abel Mel got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elias Tejeyra hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Jose-Antonio Mendaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernandez Montoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lopez Urbina's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Loropico SC's Juan Rienda got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Cuchitingue SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Tejeyra to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Loropico SC's Juan Rienda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Castro Igartua narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Xerardo Ibisate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Loropico SC's Jose-Antonio Mendaña got a free kick in the 31st minute. 39 minutes into the game, Urbano Cuadrado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loropico SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuchitingue SC the free kick. The supporters of Cuchitingue SC booed when Loropico SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Cuadrado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Loropico SC's zone, Lopez Urbina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandez Montoto came out of the goal and Lopez Urbina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 played minutes Loropico SC got a freekick which was hit by Jose-Antonio Mendaña.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lopez Urbina to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernandez Montoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Mel in the 51st minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match Emiliano Urigarri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernandez Montoto skillfully saved the ball. Lopez Urbina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernandez Montoto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Castro Igartua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from López Porregimon in the 61st minute of the match. Juan Rienda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Castro Igartua having to interfere. A collision led to Cuchitingue SC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Elias Tejeyra hit a great ball. The supporters of Cuchitingue SC booed when Loropico SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose-Antonio Mendaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. López Porregimon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Castro Igartua read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. If López Porregimon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Mel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cuchitingue SC's Lopez Urbina in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loropico SC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 82nd minute Abel Mel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandez Montoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Castro Igartua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from López Porregimon, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Juan Rienda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Castro Igartua skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Lopez Urbina came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Cuchitingue SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lopez Urbina couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Abel Mel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuchitingue SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Mel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandez Montoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cuchitingue SC's Elias Tejeyra suffered a concussion after 95 minutes and had to leave the field. After 96 played minutes Loropico SC got a freekick which was hit by Xerardo Ibisate. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
